LEGAZPI CITY — An almost week-long police operation in the Bicol region led to the arrest of 40 drug suspects and the confiscation of nearly P3 million worth of illegal drugs.lolliplay
From Nov. 4 to 10, authorities seized 429.059 grams of shabu in 26 anti-drug operations across six provinces and a city, a report from the Bicol police said on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Albay had the largest haul, valued at P1.25 million, followed by Masbate at P768,400. Other seizures occurred in Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Naga City, and Sorsogon.
Bicol police chief Brigadier General Andre Dizon said further operations this month would target drug suppliers.
