MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. has urged recipients of the 2024 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos award to “continue to be the catalysts of change” as he recognized their valuable contribution to society.
He said this during the awarding ceremony in Malacañan Palace on Monday.

Challenge them to dream bigger, to aspire higher, and to take action with the same fervor that you have demonstrated, especially now typhoons and storms are made stronger because of climate change and the challenges become even harder to deal with,” Marcos said.

The awardees are teachers, soldiers, and police officers who live up to Metrobank Foundation’s motto, “A Heart That Serves.”
